Forklift Drivers
About this job
We are seeking reliable and experienced Forklift Operators for the upcoming 2026 kiwifruit harvest season at a busy packhouse and cool store facility in Apata.
Key Requirements
-Current OSH Forklift Certificate (essential) -Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment -Strong teamwork and time-management skills -Good written English and attention to detail -Proactive attitude with the ability to use initiative -Willingness to assist with other packhouse duties as required
Key Responsibilities-
Yard Work;
-Loading and unloading trucks -Managing bin and stock movement -Working efficiently as part of a team to meet time-critical deadlines
Cool Store Operations;
-Forklift operation in a cold-store environment -High-lift work involved -Accurate handling and movement of stock
Packaging Support;
-Transporting packaged fruit to the packhouse -Ensuring smooth workflow and minimal disruption to packing operations
Bin Tip Operations
-Operating a forklift to load bins into bin-tipping machinery -Maintaining continuous workflow by thinking ahead and working proactively

Job Requirements
-Own transport and minimum Restricted Drivers Licence -Current OSH Certificate -Convictions considered case by case -Required to pass a drug test
