Spa Attendant

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Spa Attendant at one of Rotorua’s iconic tourism destinations. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for visitors is a key priority.

Key Responsibilities: Provide friendly, professional, and welcoming customer service to all guests. Maintain exceptional presentation and cleanliness of spa facilities and public areas. Actively follow, monitor, and uphold all health and safety procedures, including hazard identification and reporting. Ensure guests understand and comply with spa safety guidelines and facility rules. Use cleaning products, equipment, and PPE safely and correctly. Assist with general operational duties, taking a hands-on approach to daily tasks. Work reliably across shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Have a strong awareness of health and safety responsibilities and understand the importance of keeping both guests and staff safe. Enjoy working with people and remain calm and professional in a busy environment. Bring a positive, can-do attitude and are willing to learn. Reliable, proactive, and able to work well under pressure. Present yourself professionally with excellent grooming and personal presentation. Previous experience in the tourism, hospitality, or customer service industry preferred. A current full driver licence and access to reliable transport. Ability to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. Ability to pass a police check, convictions considered in a case by case basis.
