Heavy Truck Driver swinglift Operator Class 5

Carting containers to and from the Lyttelton Port, general freight deliveries and container tipping for delivery of bulk commodities. Our comprehensive fleet is equipped with eRoad GPS vehicle tracking for real time vehicle positioning and up to the minute tracking, paired with a powerful web-based container management and tracking application that delivers direct in-cab job scheduling via tablets showing in real-time progress and planning of each job. We currently have a permanent full-time position available for the right candidate to join our metro based team carting containers and freight around Surrounding Christchurch Metro Areas and to/from the Lyttelton Port our depot in Woolston.

Competent in operating heavy vehicles in a safe and professional manner Has a clean driving record with a minimum of 2 years experience with a Class 5 Licence Has operated a swinglift truck with a minimum of 1 years experience Able to work as part of a moderate sized tight knit, co-operative team Has good and clear English communication skills and a can-do positive attitude Flexible in hours of work from time to time as required Maintains a high level of Health & Safety awareness and compliance Previous Container Transport experience in Christchurch will make for a favourable job application but is not essential for the right person Have your own reliable transport to travel to and from work Competent in operation of an android tablet in the vehicle for job allocation and communication.
