Permanent opportunity for , Class 2 Truck Driver at Auckland Airport Precinct:

Seeking reliable and motivated Class 2 Truck Drivers to join their operations team. The team plays a critical role in preparing, transporting, and loading catering supplies for airline services.

About the Role In this role, you will operate Class 2 high-lifter trucks to deliver catering supplies directly to aircraft. This position requires precision driving, strong safety awareness, and effective communication, as you will be working in a controlled airside environment.

During downtime between flight schedules, you will also assist with packing and preparing non-food supplies for delivery.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Operate Class 2 heavy vehicles (high-lifter trucks) within the airport precinct • Deliver and load catering supplies onto aircraft and remove inbound airline supplies • Perform close-range, low-speed precision driving around aircraft • Communicate clearly with airside staff and flight crews • Assist with packing and preparing non-food catering supplies during downtime • Follow all safety, aviation, and company procedures at all times

Skills and Experience Required: • Valid New Zealand Class 2 driver’s licence • Proven experience driving heavy vehicles (highly desirable) • Excellent communication skills with clear spoken English • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-critical environment • Reliability and flexibility to work across varying shifts

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a valid New Zealand Class 2 Heavy Vehicle driver licence • Able to present a clean criminal record • Available to work across seven days on a five-day roster • Flexible to work alternate shifts as operationally required • Fork hoist certification is an advantage but not essential • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks • Able to pass all pre-employment checks, including medical and background screening • CV with a minimum of two referees for reference checks
