Description Painting Assistant Position We are hiring a Painting Assistant for a role that requires a very high level of commitment, strict reliability, and the ability to work under demanding conditions.
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a relevant field of work • Some travel throughout Bay of Plenty, Waikato, and Auckland (accommodation is paid by the company and meal allowance provided) • Travel may include stays away from home (sometimes at short notice) • Early starts, long travel times, and working in all weather conditions • Frequent drug testing • Must supply own reliable transport to and from our pickup point every day • Must be comfortable working: – at heights – on scaffolding – in confined spaces – around strong paint odours and chemicals • Must lift and carry heavy equipment, ladders, and paint buckets daily • Strict punctuality is essential - lateness is not tolerated • Must follow instructions precisely and maintain a high work pace • Limited or no personal phone use during work hours • Must be available for weekend work or overtime when required • Must be willing to attend mandatory training/induction sessions • Must provide some basic PPE (e.g., boots) before starting
