Shift Manager

A well-established fast food restaurant is currently seeking skilled Shift Managers to join their friendly and dynamic team across multiple Auckland Central locations, including Royal Oak, Penrose, Mt Wellington Highway, Lunn Ave, Mt Roskill, and Sylvia Park.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, and supporting your team in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with crew members to maintain efficiency, food quality, and a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities: * Look after customer needs and ensure a positive dining experience * Lead and manage a team of 12- 13 staff members * Actively coach and develop crewmembers to improve performance and skills * Oversee planned and daily maintenance of equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper working order * Monitor workflow, delegate tasks, and maintain operational efficiency * Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety standards * Handle cash management and shift reporting *Provide feedback to the Restaurant Manager and Department Managers to support the completion of Crew performance reviews

* Up-to-date CV required * Must be willing to undergo and pass a Ministry of Justice check * Must be willing to undergo and pass pre-employment drug test * Must be flexible with work shift hours, including weekends * Previous management experience is required in a hospitality setting * Experience in handling cash and stock management is preferred. * Excellent communication and proven leadership skills * Restricted/Full DL and have your own reliable transport
