A New Zealand-owned cafe chain known for its extensive tea selection (over 35 types), premium coffee, and Belgian hot chocolates, offering a full kitchen menu, and cabinet food (scones, sandwiches) at Manawa Bay are seeking an experienced customer service professional with exceptional barista skills to join their cafe.
About the Role As a senior member of the front-of-house team, you’ll be a role model for service excellence while delivering consistently outstanding coffee.
Key Responsibilities Provide warm, professional, and personalised customer service Prepare high-quality coffees & other beverages with speed and precision Maintain coffee consistency, presentation, and taste standards Handle customer feedback with confidence and care Handle POS / cash Ensure cleanliness and smooth operation of the cafe floor Assist with opening/closing procedures as required

Job Requirements
-Proven experience as a barista in a high-volume or premium cafe -Excellent espresso extraction and milk texturing skills -Strong communication and customer service abilities -Calm, reliable, and well-presented -A genuine passion for hospitality and coffee -Able to work rostered shifts and hours. Hours of operation are between 10am-7pm -Must pass all pre-employment checks. MOJ must be clean -This is a Auckland Airport location so must have reliable transportation to get there
