Kiwifruit Pickers

Come and enjoy working in the outdoors as our kiwifruit harvest approaches. We have picking roles in our Opotiki and Te Kaha region orchards. If you are a team player, are motivated and fit, this may be the role for you. A good level of fitness is required as you will be on your feet and working above head height for long periods of time. You will be carrying your picking bag on your front and this can weigh up to 25kgs. In our orchard roles, closed footwear such as gumboots are required under Health & Safety prerequisites. Interested in candidates with secure local accommodation within travel distance.
Candidates must attend employer's Hiring Day from 10-1 on 18th February outside the toilets in Church St or attend the Open Day at site 10-1 on February 19th for interviews to be considered.
Job Requirements
Driver licence to get you to and from orchard work reliably (Car pooling accepted) Good level of fitness Able to work at above shoulder height while carrying up to 25kg of fruit in your basket Clean criminal record is required
