Kiwifruit Packhouse Workers - Te Puke
About this job
We have a variety of positions available in a kiwifruit packhouse in Te Puke for the 2026 harvest season including but not limited to packing, stacking, strapping, tray preparation and grading.
This work requires being on your feet for long periods therefore some level of fitness is required.
As the fruit is packed for export purposes there are clear requirements to follow which will be outlined to you by the employer. For health and safety reasons, closed footwear must be worn – sneakers are suitable.
You will require secured accommodation within daily travel distance.
Training will be provided.
Job Requirements
-Able to pass a drug test -Convictions - Case by case -Must have reliable transportation (restricted or Full DL) -Must be fit and able perform physical work
- Days of work
- 4 days on, 1 off shifts - inc. weekends and some public holidays. Night shift gets an extra $2 allowance (40 hours per week)
