Class 4 Truck Driver
About this job
What you will be doing: • Operate Class 4 trucks in compliance with NZTA regulations and company safety standards • Complete daily vehicle checks, maintenance logs, and ensure the truck is kept in good operating condition • Load, secure, and unload cargo safely • Transport goods or materials to designated locations on schedule • Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and site teams • Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and paperwork
Hiab experience and Dangerous Goods endorsement a bonus
Job Requirements
• Valid New Zealand Class 4 licence (Class 5 beneficial) • Proven experience driving heavy vehicles • Strong understanding of road safety and load restraint requirements • Physically fit with the ability to assist with loading/unloading • Good communication and time-management skills • Ability to work independently and follow instructions • Must pass MOJ and drug check • Must have reliable transport to get to Levin
