Commercial Cleaner

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. This role involves a variety of cleaning tasks across commercial sites in Central Auckland. Flexibility is key, as shifts are scheduled to meet client needs (morning, day, or night).

Key Responsibilities: - Collect and dispose of rubbish, replace liners - Dust, wipe, and sanitise surfaces, fixtures, and furniture - Vacuum carpets, upholstery, curtains, and hard-to-reach areas - Mop, scrub, strip, polish, and burnish hard floors - Clean internal and external glass and windows - High-dust ceilings, beams, lights, fans, and AC units - Clean and sanitise bathrooms and restock supplies - Clean and sanitise kitchens, benches, sinks, cupboards, and appliances - Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas - Clean stairwells, handrails, walls, and lift interiors - Steam clean carpets, mats, and upholstery - Safely use chemicals for deep cleaning and stain removal - Follow colour-coding and contamination-control procedures - Dispose of chemicals and wastewater safely under environmental guidelines

This role is ideal for someone who values flexibility and variety in their work schedule. Shifts are rostered across mornings, days, and nights to meet client needs, so candidates must be comfortable with changing hours and occasional urgent jobs. This position may suit individuals without significant dependents or those who prefer adaptable work patterns, as reliability and availability are key to success in this role.

- Flexible availability for rostered shifts across 7 days (morning, day, night). - Weekend availability is essential. - Ideally based in Auckland CBD for easy transport to sites. - Full Class 1 Driver Licence and reliable vehicle (transport costs supported when required) as you will be travelling to different locations. - Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Cleaning or general labour experience preferred. - EWP and height tickets advantageous. - Able to pass drug testing and have a clean MOJ check.
