Retail Assistants (Retail & Service Team Member) - Te Anau

Te Anau based service station looking for new staff members for a full time role. You will work to a roster Monday to Sunday between the hours of 6am to 8pm weekdays and 7am to 8pm weekends for 30hrs per week. Due to nature of location availability on both days of weekends is must and flexible to work on Public holidays and Christmas Holidays due to seasonality and tourism. Must be able to pass pre-employment drug tests and police checks as required. Must have updated CV with contactable references. You must be legally allowed to work in New Zealand

- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient customer service at the front counter and via multiple communication channels. - Greet customers, identify needs, and assist with the selection and purchase of fuel, convenience items, food, and beverages. - Operate POS systems, handle cash, and process electronic payments accurately and with integrity. - Ensure products are correctly priced, displayed, and stocked through replenishment, rotation, and basic inventory reporting. - Maintain cleanliness and presentation of store shelves, equipment, barista area, and overall store environment. - Prepare coffee and food items in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards. - Promote loyalty programs, upsell products, and assist with promotional activities. - Perform daily opening and closing duties, including till balancing and safety checks. - Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory health, safety, and environmental standards. - Support the Assistant Retail Manager in maintaining operational continuity. - Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. - Contribute to a positive team culture and collaborate effectively with colleagues. - Refill LPG bottles and maintain forecourt facilities, including fuel dispensers and toilets.
