Class 4 Truck Driver

Employer is seeking 3 Candidates for a Class 4 Truck Drivers to work and travel across New Zealand, transporting large freight, furniture, and heavy goods. These roles involve nationwide driving, handling heavy items, and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of goods throughout both the North and South Island. Key Responsibilities: - Operate Class 4 trucks for the transportation of goods across New Zealand for house removal. - Load, unload, pack and secure furniture and freight safely following company and regulatory guidelines - Disassemble/reassemble furniture when required - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs - Adhere to all New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) regulations and Health & Safety protocols - Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage - Collaborate with dispatch and logistics teams to optimize route planning - No fixed rostered, flexibility required depending on work demand - At times you will be expected to work out of town 3-4 days. $30 allowance each day for food. (Accommodation will be arranged)

- Proven Experience Class 4 Driving license - Manual truck driving Experience in class 4 driving - Understanding of NZTA road regulations and Health & Safety protocols - Physically fit (Heavy lifting involved) - Good communication skills and Strong customer service skills—professional conduct during pickups and deliveries - Ability to maintain accurate documentation (delivery records, mileage, fuel logs) - Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic - Some Training will be provided for the right candidate. - Available to travel to all parts of the North and South Island. - Must be able to pass Ministry of Justice Police Check
