Experienced Scaffolding Team Leader

We're looking for experienced Scaffolders to work within South, East & Central Auckland.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Communication with the Branch Manager and/or Operations Manager to discuss and establish daily job bookings and requirements. • Calculate scaffold loadings and establish appropriate scaffolding platform to build. • Check worksites for possible hazards, identify and log. • Delivery of scaffold & loading/unloading of scaffold from trucks • Laying of wooden or steel boards (sole plates) on the ground to spread the weight of the scaffolding • Checking levels in scaffolding structures and maintaining scaffold equipment • Erecting/dismantling all scaffolding as instructed for its intended use • Fitting steel tubes and support braces together to form the scaffolding framework • Fasten ladders and guard rails to scaffolding, including toe boards • Regularly inspecting scaffolding for safety of structure • Using prefabricated scaffolding including aluminium structures

• Must have at least 2-4 years industry experience, leading and training a team of scaffolders • Proven experience in operations coordination, programme administration, or stakeholder engagement. • Restricted or Full Class 1 Licence with reliable transport • Be physically fit with a great work attitude • Have a high regard to health & Safety • Familiarity with employment services, migrant support programmes, or workforce development is a plus. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools (e.g., Mailchimp or similar). • Strong organisational and time management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Must be able to pass a medical, drug and MOJ check.
