Casual Forestry Pruner
About this job
We are seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our forestry team as Forestry Pruners. This role involves maintaining and improving the quality of plantation trees by pruning branches to ensure healthy growth and high-value timber production.
Key Responsibilities - Prune and thin trees according to forestry standards - Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently - Maintain productivity targets while ensuring quality work - Work outdoors in varying weather conditions - Follow health and safety protocols at all times
Job Requirements
- Physically fit and able to work long hours outdoors - Comfortable working at heights and using ladders or harnesses - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Previous forestry or pruning experience - Strong commitment to safety and environmental care - Must pass drug test
