Class 2 Driver

Invercargill employer is looking for Class 2 Driver to join the Waste team. This is a permanent and long-term opportunity for you to join us as a Class 2 Driver. You will be responsible for collection and delivery of skips in and around Invercargill/Southland - all through Rear Loader or Gantry for General Waste, Greenwaste or Cleanfill refuse.

To be successful, you will need: • A Class 2 licence or above • Clean driving history, preference for those with driving experience in a heavy vehicle - though full training will be provided and a driver assessment may be required • A motivated attitude and team player • Geographical knowledge of the Invercargill/ Southland area • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa • Updated CV with contactable references

You must have the below prerequisites to be considered for this role: • A Class 2 licence or above must be experienced using manual transmission • Fit, healthy and not afraid of hard work • A motivated attitude and team player • Geographical knowledge of the Invercargill/ Southland area • Hold New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency, or a Valid New Zealand Work Permit. • Be able to pass a police check and pre-employment drug test, as part of the employment process. • Experience with Rear Loader, Gantry work a bonus!
