Seeking a reliable, motivated, and skilled Cook to join our team in Papamoa. This role requires someone who can deliver high-quality dishes, maintain excellent kitchen standards, and contribute to a positive and efficient working environment. Responsibilities include but not limited to : • Prepare, cook, and present menu items to a consistently high standard. • Ensure all food handling practices meet health, safety, and hygiene regulations. • Support the kitchen team in day-to-day operations, maintaining a clean and organised workspace. • Oversee plating, portioning, and presentation to maintain quality and consistency. • Assist with seasonal menu updates and special event menus. • Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or needs to the Head Chef/Manager. • Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all dishes.

About You:

• Previous cooking experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. • Reliable, hardworking, and passionate about food. • Comfortable working in a busy bar/kitchen environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Job Requirements

• Must have previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred, hospitality background is a strong advantage. • Ability to thrive under pressure and perform well in a busy, fast-paced environment. • Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality food. • Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and safe kitchen practices.

• Working Days : Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat • Hours of work 11am-3pm (20 hours per week)
