Hotel Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising bathrooms Replace used towels, linens, and guest amenities as required Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged property to supervisors promptly Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and staff areas Follow hotel policies, health and safety standards, and cleaning procedures at all times Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly Respect guest privacy and confidentiality Adhere to rostered schedules and productivity targets

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time-management and organisational skills Physical fitness to perform repetitive tasks, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Positive attitude and professional presentation

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not essential On-the-job training will be provided Knowledge of health and safety practices is an advantage

Casual contract to start but can progress to a permanent arrangement for the right candidate
