Duty Manager needed for luxury 5 Star Hotel.

The role includes:

• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring guests’ satisfaction and comfort • Oversee daily Front Office responsibilities and operations • Manage Front Office team in the absence of the Front Office Manager. • To be a role model for the team and lead by example • Maintain effective communication among the team and with other departments • Ensure guest requests and complaints are handled professionally • Checking guests in and out • Daily cash management duties • Able to upsell products and services, as well as implementing all active promotions and offers appropriately • Completing reservations and all other duties assigned by Manager

Job Requirements

• Previous experience and success as Duty Manager in a luxury hotel environment • Reliable and punctual • Can-do, positive attitude that consistently delivers exceptional guest engagement • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Attention to details and accuracy • Ability to multi-task • Experience with Opera PMS is preferred • A current Manager's Certificate • A full NZ Driver's License is advantageous • Flexible to work on a rotating roster, including AM and PM, weekends and public holidays • Current eligibility to work in New Zealand is a must • Good understanding of the legislation regarding current Health & Safety, Fire Safety, NZ Licensing laws • Immaculate personal presentation and grooming standards

8 hour shifts starting at 7am or 3pm across 7 days. (40 hours per week)
