Please note that work will not be starting until February, however inductions and any necessary training will begin in January.

We are on the lookout for enthusiastic, reliable people to join our awesome Quality Control Team for the upcoming kiwifruit season.

You will need to: -Support high-quality fruit packing by carrying out regular sampling, inspections, and phytosanitary checks to meet Zespri Class 1 and 2 standards.

-You’ll use grading equipment, verify market status, manage grower batches, maintain traceability, and record results accurately.

-The role includes reporting issues, following corrective actions, assisting with grader training, and upholding all Hume and Zespri quality and food safety requirements.

-Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Both Dayshift and Nightshift available.

*Must have at least 1 - 2 years' work experience in a packhouse. *Must have administration and excellent communication skills. *Be a team player. *Be physically fit due to long periods of standing. *Minimum restricted driver's licence. *Able to pass a pre-employment drug test with random testing throughout the season. *Criminal convictions are on a case-by- case basis - Assault or theft convictions will not be accepted.
