This role is based in Linwood.
Duties and responsibilities: • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner • Process customer purchases accurately through the point-of-sale system • Price, display, and rotate stock • Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment • Receipt and check inward goods • Maintain a clean, well-presented, and safe store environment • Ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety
Job Requirements
• Must pass an MOJ check & Drug test • Flexibility to work varying shifts (including evenings and weekends as required) • Previous retail or grocery experience is an advantage, but not essential – full training will be provide • Dynamic and adaptable (can be depalletizing stock one minute, serving customers on tills next, etc. • Good numeric ability - counting in stock, change giving etc (tills do most of the work) • Be able to be on your feet all day • Two good referees • Tidy presentation • Must be able to work weekends when required • Ability to work well in a team and handle a fast-paced environment • A positive, customer-focused attitude • Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Days of work
- 7 days a week - Rostered hours on casual contract up to 20 hours. Open: 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Sunday (20 hours per week)
