Shuttle Driver

Safely transport customers between the depot and Wellington Airport across a 24/7 operation, including late-night and early-morning runs and assisting with luggage. Move vehicles between sites and park them securely. Complete customer check-in and check-out processes, key handling and basic paperwork. Carry out routine vehicle checks such as fuel, tyres, lights and overall condition. Support overnight operations, which often require working alone, preparing and cleaning vehicles throughout the night to ensure they are ready for early-morning departures. Respond to flight delays, late arrivals and urgent transfer requests at any hour. Maintain shuttle and yard organisation under time pressure, report issues immediately, and help keep round-the-clock airport transfer services running without interruption.

A full Class 1 driver licence is required, and the applicant must have a Passenger (P) Endorsement. Applicants must be confident driving larger vehicles and repeatedly transporting customers and luggage between sites. The role also requires the physical ability to clean, prepare and move vehicles throughout the shift, including during late-night and early-morning periods. Candidates must be able to work alone overnight, follow safety procedures, communicate clearly with customers, and respond to flight delays and urgent transfer requests at any hour. Reliability, honesty and the ability to handle responsibility (keys, vehicles and customer property) are essential.
