Kiwifruit Pickers

We are currently seeking fit, reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team for the upcoming Kiwifruit Harvest season. These roles involve physical outdoor work and require candidates who are comfortable working in varying conditions. • Harvesting kiwifruit outdoors (picking only takes place in dry conditions) • Standing for long periods of time • Working with your arms raised above your head • Repetitive hand and wrist movements throughout the day • Carrying picking bags that can weigh up to 20+ kilograms • Application forms are required to be completed. • Work is available in both the Opotiki and Te Kaha/Omaio areas and candidates must have their own, reliable means of transport. • Where no CV is available, a blurb relative to previous experience is expected • Fixed-term roles with the potential to become permanent for strong performers

• Good attitude and strong work ethic • Experience preferred but not essential • Fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks • Criminal convictions considered (case-by-case depending on charge and timeframe) • Able to pass a pre-employment drug test • Reliable transportation to work sites in Opotiki or Te Kaha/Omaio and valid driver’s License (Restricted or Full) • Able to work full days (8+ hours) • Comfortable working outdoors in dry seasons • Available 7 days/week between 7:30am and 6pm weather dependent • Must complete an application form prior to starting employment • Closed shoes required
