Class 5 Truck Driver

About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 5 Driver. This role involves operating a floating truck and trailer unit and requires flexibility to travel nationwide. Floating is a must, and applicants must be willing to work outside of Auckland for periods of 2–3 weeks at a time when required.

Key Requirements: • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with Dangerous Goods (DG) and Forklift (F) endorsements. • Minimum 2 years’ driving experience preferred. • Ability to work flexible hours, including both day and night shifts. • Confident and experienced in floating truck and trailer operations. • Willingness to travel nationwide, including extended stays away from home. • Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the job. • Clean driving record. • Must pass pre-employment drug testing and criminal record checks.

Key Responsibilities: • Operate Class 5 vehicles safely to complete assigned transport tasks. • Carry out pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. • Follow all road safety regulations and company policies at all times. • Maintain accurate delivery and trip documentation. • Communicate clearly with the dispatch team regarding schedules, updates, or delays.
