Orchard General Hand
About this job
A local Moutere orchard requires orchard hands, start date approx. 14 January with work to 24 February approx. The role is to assist with general orchard work including: Tree training, canker removal and orchard maintenance. Indoor work available on wet days and tractor driving skills (Class 1 licence) would be a big advantage, but not necessary.
While experience is preferred, it’s not required and full training can be provided.
Job Requirements
You must be fit, reliable, able to work as a team and comfortable to work on ladders (2.4mtr approx.) Your own transport is required as you must travel between orchard blocks throughout the day.
Minor convictions are considered at the discretion of the employer.
