Day shift - Kiwifruit Packhouse workers

VACANCIES AVAILABLE – PACKHOUSE DAYSHIFT (TAURIKO) 2026 Main Harvest Kiwifruit Season

We are looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our Tauriko Packhouse Dayshift team for the upcoming 2026 kiwifruit harvest season.

Positions Available: - Kiwifruit Packers - Graders (experience required) - Stackers - Tray Prep - Cool store Assistants - General Cleaning Staff

About the Work: - You will be on your feet and working inside the packhouse for the full shift. - Shifts: Monday–Sunday, 7:00am – 6:30pm - Hours: 30+ hours per week (up to 6 days of work available) - Training provided for all roles except grading. - Closed footwear is required – sneakers are recommended. - PPE will be provided. - Work in a modern, automated packhouse with a supportive team.

This is a fixed-term contract for the Main Harvest Season: March to June 2026

Job Requirements: - Must have a restricted/full driver licence and own transport to get to and from work. - Must complete a pre-employment drug test and random drug testing throughout the main harvest season - Previous packhouse experience is an advantage (not essential except for grading roles) - Reliable, punctual, positive attitude and willingness to learn. - Physically fit, as shifts are up to 12 hours and involve being on your feet and performing lifting duties - A strong work ethic and a willingness to commit to dayshift work - MOJ checks required – minor convictions considered on a case-by-case basis (no theft, stealing, or similar offences) - Clean and tidy presentation. - Must provide a passport or birth certificate with photo ID.
