Truck Driver - Swing Lift

We have a vacancy for a Full time Truck Driver Class 5 to work in Auckland region with experience in using a swing lift. You will be required to work between minimum 40 hours to maximum 70 hours from Monday to Friday (5AM-5PM) on rotation shift. You may require working on Weekend if needed. We as a business need to meet our health and safety obligations at all levels, including engaging staff and managing risks.

Job Responsibilities • Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly. • Driving within the speed limit of 90km/h and wearing a seat belt while driving • Complete a daily truck logbook and submit reports of mileage and retain fuel/toll receipts. • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. • Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations and Break Periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. • Maneuverer trucks into loading and unloading positions. • The individual will be expected to have a standard of fitness sufficient to enable him to carry out all the above duties. • Report serious mechanical problems to the manager. • Taking full responsibility of unit while on duty • Responsible for cleaning the Truck.
