2026 - Packhouse Nightshift Workers (Mount Maunganui)

We are looking for nightshift packhouse workers at our Mount Maunganui packhouse for the 2026 main kiwifruit harvest season from March 2026 – June 2026 (fixed term).

Duties may include: • Kiwifruit packing and grading • Tray preparation • Stacking • Cleaning • Cool store support

You will be on your feet and working inside the packhouse for the full duration of your shift.

Requirements: • Closed footwear is required (sneakers recommended). Steel-cap boots required for some roles. • Training is provided (grading roles require previous experience; all other roles do not). • Positive attitude with clean and tidy presentation. • Must provide a passport or birth certificate with photo ID.

• Must have own transport and a Restricted or Full DL to travel to and from work • Must be willing to complete a pre-employment drug test and random testing throughout the season • Previous experience in packhouse or similar roles is an advantage as training is provided (grading roles require previous experience; all other roles do not). • Physically fit, as shifts are 12 hours and require being on your feet • Must be able to pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check – only minor convictions may be considered (e.g., some driving-related charges) • Closed footwear is required (sneakers recommended).
