Are you passionate about helping people into sustainable, meaningful employment? We are seeking an enthusiastic Employment Consultant to join our high-performing, people-focused team. As an Employment Consultant, your primary purpose is to work one-on-one with jobseekers and build strong employer relationships to create successful long-term employment outcomes. You will: • Connect with local employers, generate leads, and develop new opportunities. • Prepare jobseekers for work, including CV support, job search coaching, and interview preparation. • Place jobseekers into suitable roles and provide post-placement support to ensure employment success. • Manage a busy caseload and meet quarterly performance targets. • Promote Workbridge in the community and develop strong relationships with stakeholders and referral partners.

Job Requirements
We are seeking someone who is: • Confident in engaging with employers and the business community. • Experienced in achieving performance targets or working in an outcomes-based environment. • Skilled in building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds. • Comfortable with lead generation and cold calling. • Highly organised with strong administration, time management and multitasking skills. • Organised, resilient, adaptable, and motivated to help people succeed. • Passionate about inclusive employment and supporting those facing barriers into work. • Able to work independently in the community, with access to a company vehicle, work laptop and work phone provided. • Convictions considered on a case by case basis. Must be prepared to disclose any criminal history during application process.
Experience in employment services, recruitment, account management, education, case management, or related fields is ideal. A relevant qualification and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and disability inclusion are advantageous, though not essential.
