Join our team on a well-established dairy farm located in the mighty Buller. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dairy Farm Assistant to support the daily operations of our farm and contribute to a positive, productive working environment. You will be involved in all aspects of milking to maintain our Grade Free standard ensuring hygiene, somatic cell count and smooth operation of the shed; assist with feeding; planning and management supporting pasture and herd feed; manage effluent system to meet all regional council and our farm compliance requirements implement the farm's animal health programme and work alongside the manager ot contribute to the business plan and the management of repairs and maintenance for all plant, machinery and infrastructure. There is shared accommodation
Job Requirements
You must be enthusiastic, reliable and a good communicator; comfortable as part of our team working with livestock and machinery; able to follow farm systems, health and safety procedures and compliance requirements; experience is an advantage - training will be provided for the right person.
