Process Workers - Rangiuru

AFFCO Rangiuru is gearing up for our busy season and putting together motivated teams at our modern processing plant near Te Puke to help get NZ sheep from our backyard to customers plates. No prior experience necessary as training is provided, you simply need to be keen for some hands-on work as part of a motivated crew!

We’re building teams to fill a wide range of roles. You could be out in the stockyards or in the cold-stores, a butcher, boner, machine operator or labourer - wherever works best. We’ll bring you up to speed right there on the job, so you can learn while you earn!

• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand • Must have reliable transport to and from the Rangiuru plant. • Must hold a full driver’s licence due to hours of operation • Must be physically fit, able to handle repetitive tasks, and capable of lifting to 30kg (depending on role). • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on, team environment. • Must be willing to work early mornings, long hours • Must pass pre-employment medical checks and drug and alcohol test. • Must pass MOJ check (case-by-case depending on offences). • Must have good work ethic and positive attitude, reliable, punctual, and prepared for physical work. • Must be comfortable working in hot, cold, or wet environments, depending on assigned area (stockyards / processing floor / cold stores. • ASAP start

Some depend on where the candidate will be placed • Stockyard roles: confident around animals, comfortable working outdoors. • Butchery/boning: good hand/eye coordination, ability to use knives (training provided). • Machine operator: basic mechanical understanding (training provided). • Cold stores: comfortable working in chilled environments.
