A liquor store in Pakuranga, East Auckland is looking for a Duty Manager with a Liquor Duty Manager Certificate.
Key Responsibilities: • Support the store management in overseeing and coordinating daily retail operations. • Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional service to ensure an excellent customer experience. • Maintain well-presented product displays, promoting featured and seasonal items effectively. • Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory control, and ensure timely restocking of shelves. • Uphold store standards by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and compliance with hygiene protocols. • Assist in achieving store sales targets through effective product recommendations and upselling. • Perform store opening and closing duties as required. • Ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, including adherence to all licensing conditions. • Provide oversight and hands-on support for delivery operations, ensuring orders are prepared and delivered efficiently • Carry out additional duties as directed by management to support overall store operations.

Job Requirements
• A valid Duty Manager Certificate is essential for this role. • A valid driver's license is required (Full Class 1) • Available to work on weekends. • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods. • Reliable, hardworking, and passionate about providing excellent service. • Able to multitask effectively in a busy environment. • Strong team player with good communication skills. • The candidate may also be required to travel within the region for the performance of duties and the cost of travel and fuel will be borne by the employer.
