Health and Safety Co-ordinator

We are a National manufacturing employer with a base in Westport; we are looking for a Health and Safety Co-ordinator to promote and oversee all aspects of health and safety in our Westport workplace. You will act as the sites 'got to' for guidance on Health and Safety related matters. You will take an active role in promoting H&S across; working with H&S Managers and advisors across the company to ensure that strategies are implemented; you will ensure the site hazard, risk and emergency management processes are maintained, monitor events on our Assura system, act as primary liaison between our site and the wider company
Job Requirements
Prior knowledge and experience with Health and Safety is essential; you need to be highly organised, motivated, able to self-manage and use your initiative, you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to adapt.

- Six Days per week; rotational shifts; on-call; (40 hours per week)
