About the role;
Assist with prepping ingredients through washing, chopping, measuring, and mixing, ensuring readiness for cooking. Prepare dishes using a variety of methods such as grilling, frying, baking, and more, while maintaining correct temperatures and culinary techniques. Season dishes with the appropriate herbs and spices to bring out the best in every plate. Portion and present dishes attractively, adding garnishes and maintaining a high visual standard. Uphold strict food safety and hygiene practices, including proper storage and cleanliness across all kitchen areas. Follow established recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency and quality. Contribute to menu planning, forecasting ingredient needs, and supporting the training of junior kitchen staff Assist in developing new, seasonal menus Daily ordering Monthly stocktakes Minimum 35 hour contract
Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience within the Food & Beverage industry Strong multitasking and delegation skills, remaining calm and composed under pressure Ability to pass pre employment drug test MOJ Check Reliable transport
