About the Role
As an Automotive Mechanic Apprentice, you will: Assist qualified technicians with vehicle servicing, repairs, and safety checks Learn and develop skills in diagnostics, fault-finding, and mechanical repairs Work with a wide range of makes and models using industry-leading tools and equipment Support workshop operations, including maintaining tools, equipment, and a tidy workspace Participate in ongoing training, assessments, and learning modules toward a recognised qualification Deliver excellent service and uphold workshop safety standards
Job Requirements
• Pass a Police Check • Pass a drug test • No previous criminal record • Minimum of a NZ Learners car drivers license (ideally higher than that i.e. NZ restricted or NZ full). • Quality references – work and character (need to be a good person, honest, with integrity) • Strong aptitude / demonstrated in problem solving i.e maths, science, etc. • Excellent English written and spoken language is a must
