A long-standing workshop in Onehunga is looking for a Wheel Alignment Technician / Tyre Technician to join their team. As a Wheel Alignment Technician / Tyre Technician, you will be removing, repairing, and fitting tyres onto vehicles.
You will be: • Assessing tyre damage and wear • Aligning, balancing, and pressure testing tyres • Doing heavy lifting to change, repair, and fit tyres • Ensuring all work meets safety standards and compliance • Delivering professional customer service and clear communication
Job Requirements
• Full, clean NZ driver’s license • Good people and communication skills • A desire to start or continue a career within the automotive industry • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills – especially with vehicles • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Experience with wheel alignment and the fitting and balancing of tyres is preferred • Have a clear MOJ record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Days of work
- Weekdays 7.30-5pm, Saturday 8.30am-1pm (40 hours per week)
