Apple Thinner
About this job
An orchard in Brooklyn is looking for thinners for the summer season early December to just prior to Christmas. You will be removing fruitlets to ensure a good crop of apples in the new season. You will have a good level of fitness as you will be on your feet all day and working from 8 foot (2.4M) ladders. You must have your own reliable transport to get to work. Job Requirements
Outdoor experience an advantage. Criminal conviction check will be made on a case by case basis at the employers discretion. This orchard is located 7.7km from Motueka CBD – so need reliable transport.
