Wigram: We are seeking a friendly and proactive Assistant Chef to join our friendly kitchen team You will be working beside Indian chef and the Store Manager.
If you’re our perfect candidate you will be able to hit the ground running, hardworking, with a friendly outgoing personality and a ‘can do’ attitude.
We are looking for a capable and reliable kitchen hand, to join our busy team!
Tasks and duties will involve: - helping in cooking - food prep - dishes - general cleaning tasks - following strict food hygiene regulations - providing customer service - waiting tables
Job Requirements
Key skills required: - At least six months of Indian Kitchen experience with similar role - You must be willing to work weekends - able to follow instructions and work to strict time frames. - Ideally you will already have some experience in catering for large numbers of people - Tasks Dishes and helping the chefs plate the meals when needed and taking the Hot boxes to the units
- Days of work
- 30 hours at a minimum each week with two rostered days off. - Shift times are approximately 11am-2pm and 4pm-close (10pm). (30 hours per week)

- $25.00 to $30 will be paid depending on the amount of relevant exp
