Experienced Class 5 Truck Driver

A transportation company in Mount Maunganui are seeking an experienced Class 5 Truck driver for container delivery to join the team.
Initially this role will be on a casual/ on-call basis, with transition to Full Time in 2026. While experience in container delivery is preferred, the employer will train an experienced class 5 driver who hasn't done container work before.

Job Requirements
1- have FULL and CLEAN class 5 licence (no DUI/ driving related convictions) 2- have at least 6 months of Class 5 driving experience, noted on your CV 3- able to operate an 18 speed Road Ranger gear box 4- be fit and able to climb in and out of the high-up cabins 5- be willing and able to work the stated times and also occasional Saturdays 6- have your own vehicle in order to get to the Mt Maunganui depot - getting a ride or public transport isn't an option for this role 7- Consent to an MOJ check, and any convictions will be considered case by case 8- Be drug free in order to pass the pre-employment drug & alcohol test and random testing thereafter.
The ideal applicant also be super reliable, able to work unsupervised, motivated and a good communicator.
