We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team in Waihi. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is keen to learn and can provide excellent customer service. What you will be doing: Assisting customers with product selection and pricing Handling checkouts and processing payments accurately Managing stock, replenishing shelves, and helping with stock takes Explaining vape products and accessories to customers in line with NZ laws Maintaining store cleanliness and merchandising standards Building strong customer relationships and resolving queries Ensuring age-restricted sales comply with legal requirements
Job Requirements
Friendly and approachable personality Strong communication skills Reliable and able to work rostered hours, including weekends Willingness to learn and follow compliance requirements Suitable for trainees or those with up to 6 months’ Customer Service or Retail experience Must pass Drug Test and MOJ Check
- Days of work
- Full time or Part time depending on the candidates availability. Monday to Sunday between 9am and 8pm rostered (30 hours per week)
