An Indian Vegetarian Restaurant & Sweets Shop based in Mount Roskill is hiring a Waiter / Front of House staff.
Key Responsibilities: * Setting and arranging tables with cutlery, glassware, and other necessary items. * Greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists. * Taking food, beverage, Sweets, Chaat orders from customers. * Co-ordinate with Kitchen staff to promptly serve orders on time. * Serving food and beverages, ensuring proper presentation and temperature. * Preparing & serving Chaats. * Boxing Sweets & Snacks etc for Takeaway orders * Providing friendly service to customers, addressing their needs and concerns. * Recommending dishes based on customer preferences. * Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a professional manner. * Clearing & Cleaning Tables, Floors, Dishwashing * FCP recordkeeping * Collecting payments for sales and operate POS & cash registers
Job Requirements
-Minimum 1 year relevant experience in as similar organisation. -Good knowledge of Indian vegetarian hot food (North, South, Gujrati, Indo-Chinese and Tandoori) -Good knowledge of Indian sweets, snacks and Chaat items. -Well presented, good health and character, bubbly, people's person and team worker

- Rostered shifts between 10am - 10pm We are open 7 days per week Minimum 30 hours per week (30 hours per week)
