Driver Operator - Surfacing

A Wellington Employer is looking for a Driver Operator - Surfacing to join their team based out of their Petone Branch. As a Driver Operator in our surfacing team, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy vehicles and machinery, including rollers, pavers, trucks, and graders. Your duties will involve transporting surfacing materials to and from project sites and ensuring surfaces are properly prepared through grading and compaction.

You’ll also play a key role in laying, spreading, and smoothing different surfacing materials such as asphalt, concrete, and seal. Maintaining equipment and strictly following safety protocols are essential aspects of this role, as is working collaboratively with a diverse team to consistently deliver high-quality results.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Full Class 2 license and WTR. • Previous experience in surfacing • Experience in operating as rollers, skid steers & pavers is a must • Able to work both independently or as a team • Excellent communication skills. • Must be able to pass pre-employment MOJ check and Drug Test.
