A local Tauranga employer is on the lookout for a motivated Class 2 Driver to join the Tauranga team — someone who’s not afraid to get stuck in, work hard, and help keep our communities looking their best.
About the Role This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be trained to operate our Road Sweeping Fleet and Leaf Sucker Trucks around Tauranga and surrounding areas.
You’ll also support the Litter Team as required — all pitch in to get the job done.
Shifts: You’ll need to be flexible and available for day, night, and weekend rosters, depending on customer requirements.
What We’re Looking For - Current Class 2 driver’s licence - Comfortable using technology systems - Good geographical knowledge of Tauranga and surrounding areas - A positive attitude and willingness to “muck in” with the team - Commitment to safe work practices - Reliability, teamwork and a strong work ethic
Experience operating road sweeping or vacuum trucks is a bonus — but full training provided for the right person.
