Community Support worker

Employer is seeking part time and full time support workers. You will have a passion for supporting people with a high and complex needs to lead fulfilling lives in the community. You you have a great attitude, empathetic and compassionate. You may support youth clients, intellectually disabled or disability clients. Services provide a safe and positive environment where clients are assisted to achieve maximum independence. Duties include- Encouraging and motivating client participation in day-to-day life Supporting them with activities of daily living, including in the community Ensuring support with medication and personal hygiene Supporting social and whanau connection Ensuring client processes are accurately documented Most importantly, supporting them to have fun and live fulfilling lives
Job Requirements
A full driver's licence is essential Must have the right to work in New Zealand (visas must be valid for more than twelve months) A level 2-4 or other relevant qualification in mental health is desirable but not essential. Excellent communication and networking skills Ability to build and maintain working relationships with clients, staff, and external agencies
