We are looking for a motivated and reliable Cook to join our friendly rural pub team!
This role is based at a rural pub and includes training for someone interested in cooking the lunch and dinner menu. The job involves split shifts and working most weekends, with one weekend off each month. The pub is open Tuesday to Sunday, and there may be some downtime between lunch and dinner shifts. The kitchen usually closes at 8:30 pm, though this may change as the business gets busier.
Key responsibilities : - Preparing, cooking, and serving meals to a good standard. - Learning and contributing to menu development - Stock control and monitoring kitchen supplies - Ability to cover in the bar when required

Job Requirements
- Willing to work split shifts and most weekends - Previous cooking experience preferred or interested in hospitality and keen to grow their skills - Understanding of, or willingness to learn, Health & Safety and food handling requirements - Must have minimum of Restricted Licence with own transport - MOJ - minor convictions considered on a case by case basis - Must be able to pass a drug test - A cover letter is recommended
