About this job
Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately. Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty drinks according to recipes and customer preferences. Operate and maintain coffee machine, grinder, blenders, and other cafe equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including tables, counters, and equipment. Restock supplies such as coffee beans, milk, pastries, and paper goods as needed. Handle cash and process transactions using POS systems accurately. Provide product knowledge and make recommendations to customers. Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned. Answers telephone in a courteous and friendly manner including, but not limited to, giving greeting, directions and receiving and filling customer orders. Training staff on the accurate use and cleaning/maintenance of the espresso machine. Encouraging staff to up and cross sell. Assist with front of house duties.
Job Requirements
At least 1 year of barista experience in a high-volume cafe environment, producing up to 350+ coffees per day. Training is provided, but applicants must be able to reach this output with minimal guidance.

- Establishment is open 7 days a week. Roster set weekly. Able to work shifts on weekdays, weekends and public holidays (35 hours per week)
