A Mount Wellington based employer is seeking an reliable and detail-oriented Wiring Harness & Switch Panel Tester. Key Responsibilities are : •Test and verify wiring harnesses and switch panels against schematics and diagrams. •Accurately measure wiring lengths using a measuring tape. •Identify and report faults or discrepancies in wiring and connections. •Maintain accurate records of test results and inspections. •Assist with basic wiring tasks and support the wider production team as needed. •Follow instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality.

The successful candidate will be able to follow instructions, reliable with a keen attitude, good concentration and attention to detail. Previous experience in electrical testing, automotive wiring, or a related field will be seen as an added advantage.

Applicants must be physically fit enough to stand throughout the duration of their shift, have reliable transport and a clear criminal record.

Job Requirements

•Proficient numeracy and literacy skills – must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and harness drawings. •Confident using measuring tools such as tape measures to verify wiring lengths. •Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. •Willingness to learn and follow set processes and procedures. •A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well in a team. •Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively. •Must pass drug test and police check.

Days of work
7.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday. (40 hours per week)
