We are seeking a physically fit and resilient individual to join our team in a South Canterbury based meat processing facility. This role involves handling and cleaning animal carcasses to prepare them for cutting, which includes working with blood, organs, and strong odors in a fast-paced environment. The position requires stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain hygiene and safety standards while performing repetitive, physically demanding tasks. If you are reliable, hardworking, and comfortable with challenging conditions, we’d love to hear from you. Training can be provided, previous knifehand or butcher experience is a plus.
Job Requirements
Meat processing experience desired but not necessary. Must have positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Must be able to work well with others in a team environment. Must be physically fit. Must have reliable transport. Must be eligible to work in NZ. Must be 18 years or older. Must be able to pass pre employment drug test, onsite medical check and convictions check.
- Days of work
- Monday - Friday + Saturday mornings till lunchtime. 6:30am - 3:30pm. (40 hours per week)
