A local pool and spa servicing business seeks a Pool & Spa Technician on a Full-Time basis to join our small team based in Nelson. If you are a motivated, safety conscious individual, with the ability to learn new skills & retain new information and able to work with limited supervision then we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for a Pool & Spa Technician that is honest and reliable, has an excellent work ethic, a high level of presentation, and takes pride in their work. An ability to learn and understand the technical functions of pool equipment and program accordingly would be an advantage.
Key duties include:
-Represent our business to a high standard -Water testing and balancing -Supply pool products, install new equipment and replacement parts -Identify sales opportunities -Complete pool valet services – general pool & spa maintenance, check pool equipment such as pumps, filters, timers etc
Job Requirements
-Full NZ driver’s license, able to drive a manual vehicle -Clean police record -Physically fit and able with an excellent can-do attitude -Great communication and problem-solving skills -Attention to detail, high level of accuracy -Good time management
Experience in the industry would be preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Days of work
- Monday - Friday, exact hours of work to be arranged but 8 - 9.5 hrs of work per day is expected. (40 hours per week)
