Laundry assistant

Motueka factory is looking for a laundry general hand to be a part of the shared responsibility with ensuring the efficient and organised operational function of the Motueka laundry site. Afternoon position working from 1pm - 9pm. This is a fixed term role to cover maternity leave. Ending around September 2026. Responsible for loading and unloading vast and varied articles to and from washing machines Sorting of dirty and clean laundry with upmost care Wash, dry, fold all laundry as required Uphold the garment bag management to ensure all personal items are being secured. Counter service for all inward and outward issuing of personal protective equipment
Job Requirements
Knowledge in similar role would be advantageous, training will be provided Excellent communication skills Team player Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene products Solid understanding of health and safety Approachable Supportive of others Have a can do attitude.
